"Facts which at first seem improbable will,
even on scant explanation, drop the cloak which has hidden them
and stand forth in naked and simple beauty."
- Galileo Galilei
The Theory of Everything

This is the most important
thing that I have ever written. It is the product of
more than twenty years of intense research, study and
intellectual inquiry. I cannot at this point know with
certainty whether the theory that I have developed is correct,
and what is much less certain is whether others will see, to
take Galileo's words, the naked and simple beauty in it.
Nonetheless, I have decided to share at least this much of it
now, and see what happen.
Since I am known for my work on this site as a writer, I
feel compelled to stress that this is not a literary gimmick,
nor an allegory, nor a parable, nor any kind of practical
joke. This paper is non-fiction, and completely
serious. I do wear and have worn many hats in life and
the depths of my interests, talents and explorations extend
far beyond writing. This site was created as an outlet
for my writing, but because I have never viewed my writing as
separate from my interest in science, as is indicated by much
of the other content of this site, it seems appropriate not to
mention convenient that I would post this paper here.
But please understand, whether what I am proposing is correct
or incorrect, this paper is exactly what it purports to be.
I am my own word processor, copy editor and web designer,
and I felt a bit of a sense of urgency to publish this paper,
so please forgive any minor errors or technical glitches. I
will be reviewing the paper with a fine-toothed comb and
correcting any problems as I find them, but I have undertaken
a sufficient review to ensure that the quality is, well,
better than a lot of articles on NYT and Yahoo are these days,
and there is nothing that should cause the point to be missed,
save that someone might make the foolish error of dismissing
my scientific talent because they find a spelling or
grammatical error. But that was probably a person I would
never be able to reach anyway, so I think the ship should be
seaworthy.
As I mention in the paper, this is not a scientific document
intended to serve as a basis for evaluating my potential
discovery. That would come later and take some time and effort
to produce. This is an expository paper intended to
explain just a little of how I came to make this discovery,
share a few important things about me, and hopefully to
establish the fact that it is deserving of serious examination
so that I can determine if I can and should proceed to
undertake the sustantial further project of producing a
scientific paper for evaluation. I hope that you will
all take the time to read it--it is a quite brief 14 pages and
requires no special scientific knowledge to understand--and I
hope that, if you feel it merits further distribution, you
will share it with as many people as you can. Thank you.
